Geisinger's Center for Pharmacy Innovation and Outcomes (CPIO) is looking for Research Faculty to join our evolving team! This would be an excellent opportunity for a mid-career or senior individual who is looking to extend their research in a progressive healthcare system. Additional opportunities
may include mentoring and providing oversight of junior faculty in scientific aspects of their work.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD and/or PharmD and an established research program in Pharmacoeconomics or Health Services research that overlap with Geisinger's CPIO focus areas.
The CPIO began in 2015 with a mission to conduct, implement and disseminate research to optimize medication use. Our research in population health with focus on the areas of value in healthcare and personalized medicine touches integrative pharmacy care, medication nonadherence, pain and addiction, and personalized medicine through the application of pharmacogenomics. As the recipient of the Pennsylvania Society of Health System Pharmacists (PSHP) Innovative and Collaborative Practice Award and the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP) Award of Excellence in 2016, Geisinger's pharmacists continue to lead in transforming health care.
