The Comparative Health Outcomes, Policy and Economics (CHOICE) Institute at the University of Washington, Seattle invites applications for a post-doctoral position with a primary focus on value of information analysis in healthcare and medicine. Candidates must possess a related doctoral degree (e.g., Ph.D. in health economics, health services research, or biostatistics) have research experience with Bayesian methods and simulation modeling in the context of healthcare, and, especially, be fluent with R and Rshiny. The focus of the fellowship would be to develop and implement web-based value of information platforms and related research work. In addition, the post-doc will also have the opportunity to gain further experiences in health economics and HTA through collaborations with faculty and researchers at UW and across the city of Seattle. The CHOICE faculty are engaged in a wide range of HEOR activities including developing cost-effectiveness models that are directly being used to inform policy discussions in the US.
