Under general direction of senior leadership, the candidate will direct and contribute to HEOR research and strategy which support our clients’ HEOR and market access programs. This includes oversight of and content development for literature reviews, economic models, value dossiers, publications, field-based tools, real-world evidence generated by means of prospective or retrospective observational studies on epidemiology, burden of illness, or healthcare resource utilization, and drug utilization reviews. The candidate may also oversee and lead junior staff. This position will work with senior management to implement strategic and tactical goals that are designed to grow the overall business.
This role may be filled at varied levels of seniority. Based on the experience level of the candidate the responsibilities for this role and title will adjust accordingly.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with the development of proposals
Conduct internet and literature searches using available data such as PubMed, EMBASE, Medline, Cochrane Collection, and other tertiary medical information sources
Establish timelines and milestones with sponsor and internal EPI-Q staff
Develop study/project protocols with EPI-Q clinical staff, sponsors, and investigators
Oversee project/study activities which may include recruitment (site, HCP, patient, etc.), IRB submissions, trainings, and data management
Develop progress reports for internal EPI-Q and sponsor use
Produce final project/study report and presentation of the project/study findings with EPI-Q clinical and biostatistical staff, including creation of graphical output from the data
Prepare abstracts and manuscripts for submission with EPI-Q clinical, epidemiology, and/or biostatistical staff
Lead the development, scheduling, and implementation of meetings related to projects and studies (packet preparation, attend session in leadership role, take notes/minutes and transcribe, etc.)
Perform other related duties incidental to the work necessary to support projects and studies
This position requires:
A postgraduate degree (eg, MSc, PhD, DrPH, PharmD) in a relevant scientific discipline preferred, such as in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, Pharmacy Administration
Demonstrate evidence of concrete experience in HEOR and market access in an HTA environment
Demonstrate evidence of project management experience in a consulting or similar environment
Broad technical knowledge of outcomes research, health economics and market access, with a demonstrated, higher level of specialization in one of these fields
Autonomous, structured, and well organized
Ability to work well in a dynamic, successful consulting firm, which maintains high quality standards and demands excellence
