We are a well-funded healthtech start-up, pursuing an outcome based approach on chronic disease management and clinical decision support, incubated within the global life sciences company Roivant. We focus on improving the lives of chronic patient populations by integrating technology-enabled, innovative solutions and implement it through public and private partnerships.
Roivant raised $1.1B from Softbank’s Vision Fund last summer, partially intended to fund multiple complementary ways to improve healthcare and healthcare systems. On the back of this, RoivantNEXT – the technology-driven healthcare incubation team within Roivant – has launched this new venture in a way to make healthcare more efficient and effective than it is today.
This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to join a well-funded healthtech start-up on “Day 1”, reporting directly to the Founder and CEO. The successful candidate will create and drive the implementation of a HEOR strategy, translate this strategy into an actionable roadmap, and be a strategic partner in business development and be critical in refining the product to maximize health outcomes. The role will build and implement health economics models for multiple public and private centralized healthcare systems that are at the core of the company’s business model. You will be responsible for determining appropriate data to aggregate, structure, and analyze for optimal modeling, forecasting and monitoring of baseline, progression, and outcome criteria for the start-up’s programmatic roll-outs. This position will be the heart of the operational playbook for patient data management and will require accountability to all respective data privacy regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Strong HEOR experience and technical skills (e.g., patient modeling; budget impact and cost-effectiveness economic modeling; prospective and retrospective outcomes research; health technology assessments)
Subject Matter Expert on Health Economics Modelling with experience leading Health Technology Appraisals Submissions, Market Access Strategies and preparation of Reimbursement Core Value
Experience working on strategy, policy formation and business development, ideally with providers and commissioners of health, academia and private sector medical device, health technology and pharmaceutical companies
Ideally experience in trial design to support and proof health outcomes claims as well as in cardiometabolic disease data modeling and analytics
Experience at the intersection of technology and healthcare delivery and management would be beneficial
5-10 years of experience in real-world data management and analytics
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to develop evidence based, tailored solutions leading to successful approval of HTA submissions
Experience with multiple differentiated healthcare systems (private, public, first-world, emerging/developing worlds) and contracting systems (e.g., volume-based and outcomes-based contracting).
Multi-regional knowledge on healthcare systems and payor systems (Europe, Middle East, Asia)
Exceptional analytical/modeling skills including complex quantitative methodologies
Gritty attitude with the desire and ability to work in a highly innovative start-up environment
Entrepreneurial mind-set, strong business acumen and technology vision
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Curious mind, willingness to learn and continuously develop, meet aggressive timelines while remaining scrappy
Creativity to define now approaches to refine the product to maximize health outcomes
Passion for the healthcare space and making a difference to patients
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, English fluency is a must
