Exponent's Health SciencesPractice is currently hiring Senior Managing Scientists in the area of Health Economics and Outcomes Research in our Menlo Park, CA, Alexandria, VA, and Chicago, IL offices. Responsibilities for this position include:
Manage and execute complex HEOR projects in support of our clients
Active participation and leadership in our Health Sciences Practice
Actively market the group's capabilities to clients and the scientific community
Develop additional expertise and establish new and expanded client base through our unique technical consulting services

Qualifications for this position include:
Ph.D. in Public Health, Economics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology or a related scientific field
Demonstrated leadership experience leading project teams is preferred
Direct experience in developing and leading analyses supporting value proposition or patient reported outcomes for dissemination to regulatory, coverage and/or research settings
Minimum of ten years of professional experience, with a minimum of five years as a consultant
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate technical issues to a non-technical audience
Recognized expert in his/her field with a strong publication history
Established client relationships and a thriving consulting business is highly desirable, individuals with strong potential for business development through institutional support and resources will be considered
Able to attract projects and continuously expand his/her business volume to support full-time staff and have the skills needed to manage, develop, and promote a group of highly motivated professionals
Leadership or active participation in professional associations and/or journal editorship is an asset
The ideal candidate will be expected to continuously expand his/her own expertise through peer-reviewed publications and to develop the careers of support staff.
