The Senior Project Leader Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) is responsible for:
Leading the development and execution of a global, comprehensive and scientifically rigorous HEOR program for the entire Hemophilia franchise that is aligned with the commercial and market access strategies for the brand(s) and with the must-win countries
Driving the collaborative generation of a payer / HTA relevant evidence package (e.g. real world studies, patient reported outcomes, resource data collection, statistical analyses incl. network meta-analyses and economic models) and their communication through Core Value Dossiers, publications, etc. for all brands and future products of the Hemophilia franchise
Ensuring that the market access and payer perspective is integrated in the target product profile and the clinical development program(s) by identifying appropriate comparators, target patient populations, and endpoints (clinical, economic, patient reported outcomes) aimed at ensuring differentiation for the purpose of relative value demonstration
Developing together with the Access Core Team payer / HTA value propositions and proactively identifying evidence requirements to support relative value demonstration and product differentiation
Translating the payer / HTA value proposition into the pricing and reimbursement submission strategy for health technology assessment (HTA) agencies to secure reimbursement in the key markets globally
WHO YOU ARE
Doctoral degree (PhD, DRPH, ScD) in health services research, public health, epidemiology, or health economics or a doctoral degree in a clinical discipline (medicine, pharmacy, nursing) preferred. Minimum a master’s degree in health services research, public health, epidemiology, or health economics or an MBA is required
5 years’ experience working in HEOR, Market Access and/or closely related areas in a pharmaceutical company, including a major fraction of experience in Global roles and in key HTA countries (e.g. UK, Canada)
Understand market access and HTA needs in key markets
In depth knowledge of clinical research especially clinical studies and drug development strategies, hands on experience in the evaluation of health care interventions and conducting health economics, health related quality of life, and/or health services research studies for a pharmaceutical company
Excellent process and project management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills required: ability to understand and respond to multiple internal and external customer demands and manage and handle conflict constructively
Excellent oral and written English communication skills required.
