You will love this role if you are:

  • An industry-recognized business development leader in the HEOR/RWE/Market Access space with a strong track record of sales achievements to back it up
  • Someone who thrives in the public eye, representing your company in the marketplace, able to cultivate business relationships with key leaders in the biopharma client base
  • Naturally inquisitive as relates to identifying key products and therapeutic areas in which major investments in HEOR/RWE/Market Access projects will be made by the client base
  • Strong in building, managing, rewarding, and holding accountable successful business and proposals development teams to drive solutions that meet client needs
  • Able to establish, track, and meet sales targets and other business objectives that place your company on track for above-market growth

As part of the Open Health Executive Leadership Team, you’ll be responsible for the following activities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the business development function and process, including recruitment and management of BD directors and BD operations staff
  • Development and management of a formal proposals process and function, including recruitment and oversight of the proposals development team
  • Creation and tracking of key performance indicators/dashboards for sales volume, hit rate, strike rate, and other relevant metrics, with ability to drill down on business line (modeling & meta-analysis, real-world evidence, strategic market access, patient-centered outcomes & patient engagement), client segment (top 20 pharma, SMID, etc.) and specific client (Pfizer, Amgen, etc.)
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues on the positioning of the OPEN Health Evidence & Access practice in the marketplace

 What you’ll bring:

  • Advanced leadership and management skills with a proven track record of delegating and directing to meet and exceed results.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with a proven track record of driving growth.
  • Senior sales management experience is essential.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and familiarity with the strategies and tactics needed to develop and grow new business opportunities.
  • Committed to continuous improvement in managing all aspects of the business.
  • Ability to provide ongoing formal and informal training to drive career development of direct reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be proactive in identifying issues and recommending solutions.
